Community Guidelines

VTown is a neighbourhood community app. Keep it friendly, safe, respectful, and local.

1. Be Respectful

Treat your neighbours with kindness. Do not harass, bully, threaten, abuse, or personally attack other users.

2. Keep It Local and Relevant

Post content that is relevant to your neighbourhood or local community. Do not post spam, scams, repeated promotions, or irrelevant content.

3. No Harmful Content

Do not post content that includes violence, hate speech, discrimination, explicit sexual content, illegal activity, self-harm encouragement, or dangerous behaviour.

4. Protect Privacy

Do not share another person's private information without their consent. This includes addresses, phone numbers, private messages, photos, or identifying details.

5. Be Honest

Do not post misleading, false, impersonating, or deceptive content.

6. Use Reporting and Blocking Tools

If you see content or behaviour that breaks these guidelines, use the report option in the app.

You can also block users. Blocking a user will remove that user's content from your feed immediately where supported by the app.

7. Moderation and Consequences

VTown reviews reports of objectionable content within 24 hours.

Content that violates these guidelines may be removed. Users who repeatedly or seriously violate these guidelines may have their account suspended or terminated.
